Data parser and email broadcast
Dynamic web application
Take a TXT file, generated by a desktop application, as input, parse the information and send out email broadcast for each receipient.
The desktop application produces appointment schedules for patients from doctors. This PHP web utility parses each schedule information and sends out email broadcast to each patient. Also creates a LOG file detailing every parsed information.
The utility uses PHP PEAR's Mail extension to send out emails through custom SMTP gateway.
The email template for the broadcust is customizable by psudo-variables, for patient's name, doctor's name, etc., as well as the email's subject.

I am thankful for the many opportunities I've had to help patients in different medical offices throughout the Lehigh Valley. I have been employed in nursing positions for workmen-comp injuries, internists and family practitioners, a gastroenterology practice, an ophthalmologist, an orthopedic spine surgeon, a rheumatologist, and plastic surgeons, along with temp agencies that included cardiology and oncology.
Many of the jobs entailed aiding in procedures and surgery. In 1997, I gained experience in the operating room and then took positions later to personally assist surgeons in that capacity. It has been an honor to attend to people's needs and care for them pre-operatively, during surgery, and then post-operatively.
Since March 2001, I have been performing micropigmentation procedures. It has been gratifying to witness first-hand the increase in self-esteem and convenience that my patients have experienced as a result of the procedures.
Personally, I have the permanent eyeliner and lipliner. It is wonderful to wake up and go!
